Capitalized terms not defined in this document have the meanings given in our Terms of Service.

CrossCode, Inc. — Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") Effective Date: 2026-06-22 (Version 1.1)

This AUP is incorporated by reference into the Master Subscription Agreement and applies to all use of the Services.

1. Prohibited Uses

You will not use the Services to:

(a) Evade duties, taxes, or trade remedies. Misrepresent classification, country of origin, valuation, or any other entry data with the purpose or effect of evading any duty, tax, fee, antidumping or countervailing duty, marking requirement, or trade remedy under Section 201, 232, 301, or any other authority; transship to disguise origin; or split shipments to evade duty thresholds.

(b) Violate U.S. trade controls or sanctions. Use the Services in a manner that violates the Export Administration Regulations (EAR, 15 C.F.R. Parts 730–774), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR, 22 C.F.R. Parts 120–130), or sanctions administered by the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), including transactions with persons on the Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List, sectoral sanctions lists, or in comprehensively sanctioned regions.

(c) Submit ITAR-controlled technical data. Upload, paste, or transmit any data subject to ITAR controls without first obtaining all required authorizations and providing CrossCode written notice. CrossCode is not currently authorized as an ITAR-compliant processor.

(d) Train competing models. Use the Services, Output, or any other materials accessible through the Services to train, fine-tune, evaluate, benchmark, or improve any artificial intelligence model, large language model, classifier, or competing service.

(e) Scrape or automate beyond documented limits. Access the Services by means other than the documented user interface and APIs; exceed documented rate limits; or use the Services to harvest CBP, CROSS, or HTS data at volumes inconsistent with normal customer use.

(f) Compromise security. Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services other than under a written authorization; circumvent authentication, access controls, or usage limits; introduce malware or attempt denial-of-service; or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data.

(g) Misuse data. Upload Submissions for which you lack lawful authority; impersonate any person or entity; submit content that infringes intellectual property or violates rights of privacy or publicity; or submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, or harassing.

(h) Misrepresent CrossCode. Suggest, imply, or state that CrossCode is the broker of record, that Output is a binding ruling, that any cited CROSS ruling has been independently verified as good law as of the date of use, or that CrossCode has accepted responsibility for any filing decision.

2. Enforcement

CrossCode may, at its discretion, investigate suspected violations and, where appropriate, suspend or terminate access to the Services with or without notice. CrossCode will provide notice where practicable. CrossCode may report suspected criminal activity to law enforcement.

3. Reporting Violations

To report a suspected violation of this AUP, email abuse@crosscode.pro.

4. Changes

CrossCode may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes are communicated with at least thirty (30) days' notice through the Services or by email to account administrators.
